The Cancer Council brings together Australia’s leading state and territory cancer organisations, and invites individuals, groups and businesses all over Australia to ‘Gather, Share, Give’ in aid of this worthwhile cause. Their vision is to minimise the threat of cancer through successful prevention, best treatment, support and world-class cancer research.

A special mention must be made to Sherrie Pothecary and the Dysart Bowls Club for supporting this event and donating prizes towards the day’s fundraising activities, as well as Kath Dale and the ladies at Dysart’s St Vincent De Paul for their continued donations and support towards this event.
