Get Involved, Develop Skills & Make Connections 

​Local clubs, organisations and schools in our community hold events throughout the year that are only possible with the hard work and dedication of many volunteers.

 

Most sporting groups and their grounds, canteens and  committees operate on a volunteer basis and can only function and grow with the contribution of community members. 

 

Community events benefit greatly from the support and time offered by volunteers to make such events enjoyable and successful. Volunteering also provides a meaningful way to develop your skills and gain real world experience in ways you never expected.  This may include helping at the event or providing your skills behind the scenes;

• Assist with BBQ

• Sell raffle or door tickets

• Face painting/glitter tattoos etc

• Event photography

• Host games, craft or other stalls

• Set design

• Creation of event decorations

• Distributing event schedules

• Event Light and Sound

• Live performances

The options are endless.  If you have a skill or experience you'd like to share, let us know!
