Dysart Golf Club
Dysart Golf Club is a nine hole course that is set amongst a natural landscape. The club hosts an annual Pro Am which has played host to many of Australia’s great professionals and is the longest running Pro Am played on the Queensland Sunshine Tour. Wayne Grady, Peter Senior and John Senden are amongst those listed on the honour role for this highly regarded event which celebrated the impressive milestone of 35 years in 2013.
With a junior and senior calendar, this well cared for club is open to the public and is a dream to play on. The course has 18 tees and dual greens to create a 18 hole course. With grassed greens, a Par of 72, and 6166 metres in length, this course has something for every handicap. Motorised buggies and golf clubs are available for hire. Dysart Golf Club can be found at the end of Fisher Street past Dysart’s other sporting fields.

The Dysart Recreation Centre
The Rec Centre offers the community many indoor sports, including activities on a drop in basis for those who may work around rosters or other commitments. The centre strives to provide activities which are inclusive to all sections of the community from their tumbling toddlers program to Nifty fitness. With a different social game played nearly every evening you’re sure to find a sport for you.
The Youth Centre and fully equipped Lifestyle Centre (Dysart Gym) are also located within this facility on Queen Elizabeth Drive.

Dysart Lifestyle Centre
Dysart Lifestyle Centre is a local not-for-profit gym run by volunteer management committee members and staff. All profits made are put back into the gym, which is equipped with a large range of free weights 1kg - 55kg, weight machines and cardio equipment. Dysart Lifestyle Centre also offer a range of classes, for more information contact them on 0427 1212 686 or through dysartgym@bigpond.com, to receive their monthly class calendar.
Babysitting is available to ensure the facilities remain accessible to all members of the community. The Dysart Lifestyle Centre is located within the Dysart Recreation Centre on Queen Elizabeth Drive.

Dysart Swimming Pool
Dysart Swimming Pool is located on the corner of Queen Elizabeth and Garnham Drive. As well as the Olympic size swimming pool, this facility includes a children’s wading pool, snack bar, shaded areas, amenities and a variety of blow-up equipment available to hire for parties and regularly offered to patrons on weekends for a small fee.
Season passes are available for individuals and families. Throughout summer learn to swim classes are on offer, with the Dysart Swimming pool closing over winter.

Dysart Bowls Club
Dysart Bowls Club is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a game of lawn bowls. This club boasts a beautiful shaded green for members and visitors alike. For information on fee’s and conditions please contact the Dysart Bowls Club on (07) 4958 1277.

Bird Watching
Bird Watching may not come to mind when you think of mining towns, however thanks to Dysart’s diverse array of habitats there is an impressive range of birds and other wildlife to be found.
Knowledgeable locals have reported that those who enjoy birdwatching can find the following; Lorikeets, Honey eaters, Sulphur crested cockatoos, Galah's, Tawny frog mouths, Rosellas, Crows, Hawks, Wedge tailed eagles, Owls, Wood sparrows, Sparrows, Goshawks, Pelicans, Swans, Brolgas, Kingfishers, Kookaburras, Ibis, Emus, Ravens, Guinea fowl, Doves, Cockatiels, Pale Headed Rosellas, Apostle bird aka Happy Jacks, Red-winged Parrots and Plains Turkeys aka bustards.

Centenary Park
Centenary Park is the largest public park in Dysart. Facilities include a skate park, a range of playground equipment, basketball/netball courts, covered eating areas, open grassed areas, BBQ’s and amenities. Located centrally, Centenary Park can be found on Shannon Crescent, across from the town library and Isaac Regional Council office.

Lions Park
Lions Park is another family friendly park that has play equipment, covered eating area and a newly assembled exercise station. Lions Park is across
from the Dysart Swimming Pool on Garnham Drive.

Fox Park
Fox Park is on the corner of Yeates Crescent and Brennan Street, this residential park has large open grassed space, covered picnic area and play equipment for the kids.

Leichhardt Oval and Recreation Park
Leichhardt Oval and Recreation Park located off Fisher Street are where you will find Dysart’s sporting fields; Lucy Daly Oval, Warren Oval and Hickey Oval. These fields are also home to both junior and senior soccer, AFL, both junior and senior rugby league grounds and the Dysart Amateur Boxing Club.

Tennis
The town centre Tennis court is situated on Queen Elizabeth Drive. Located adjacent to the Dysart Swimming Pool, these courts are open day and night for public use.
